Le chateau d' Himeji (Himeji castle)

Le chateau d'Himeji est classée sur la liste des patrimoines mondiaux de l’ UNESCO depuis 1993. Son surnom est "château du héron blanc" parce qu' il ressemble au héron qui s'envole dans le ciel. Ce château japonais en bois a été une prouesse technique.

姫路城（ひめじじょう）は、1993年に世界遺産（せかいいさん）に指定（してい）されました。天（てん）を舞（ま）う白鷲（しらさぎ）のように見（み）えることから、別名（べつめい）を白鷲城（しろさぎ）とも呼（よ）ばれています。このお城（しろ）は、木造建築（もくぞうけんちく）の最高傑作（さいこうけっさく）です。

Himeji castle was registered in 1993 as one of the first UNESCO world heritage sites. This castle is also called White Heron Castle (Shirasagijo) because of its brilliant white appearance and its figure likened to a white heron spreading wings.
